What is the difference between ARM, HOME and ALERT?
SafeHome alarm system has three different settings ARM HOME and ALERT.
ARM - Typically used when leaving the house. When a room sensor or door/window contact is activated, the system will respond with siren.
Alert - is used if you want a message (bell sound) when you are at home, and a door/window contact or room sensor is activated.
Home - Here you can choose which zones (sensors or door/window contacts) to be activated respectively ARM (which activates the siren) or Alert (which activates the bell).
It is also possible to omit the zones in this mode, thus it may be possible to use HOME when one is at home, with all the door/window contacts activated, and room sensors deactivated .
Sensors and door/window contacts can be divided into up to 8 different zones, and you can even configure which zones are to be active in the ARM, HOME and ALERT mode.
