How do I setup the mail service

Some ISP does not allow the use of web-based mail server (such as gmail or hotmail). We therefore recommend that you ask about this at your ISP. If your ISP does not allow the use of web-based mail server, you must use a working email address issued from the provider, for sending mail from the camera. You can easily receive mail on a mail address from another provider. Your ISP or mail service provider can tell you their SMTP settings such as SMTP server, SMTP port and encryption.
  • Sender: must be a working email address issued to you.
  • Receiver: Optional mail addresses.
  • SMTP Server should be the SMTP server from the provider of mail address under the "send".
  • SMTP Port: must be SMTP port from the provider of mail address under the "send".
  • Transport Layer Security Protocol: here select the specified encryption according to information from the provider of mail address under the "send".
  • Need Authentication: should be ticked if the SMTP provider requires this.
  • SMTP User: Must be the same address as the "sender".
  • SMTP Password: Must be the password to the email address listed under "sender" and "SMTP user".
Click Submit to save the settings and then click Test.
