When the siren is running out of battery power, this is indicated by the small red LED which normally flashes every 10 seconds, start flashing every second. If the battery change does not happen, the diode will complete stop flashing when the batteries are completely flat.
If the red LED flashes every second, the battery change effected in the following manner:
- Simultaneously press the remote's open and closed padlock in 2 seconds (the siren blue LEDs will light)
- Remove the siren front
- Turn off the siren
- Change the batteries
- Turn on the siren
- Install the siren front
- Simultaneously press the remote's open and closed padlock in 2 seconds (the siren blue diodes will stop light and the red light will flash every 10 seconds)
If the red LED stop flashing completely (flat battery), battery changes should be done in the following manner:
- Remove the siren front
- Turn off the siren
- Change the batteries
- Turn on the siren (Note, the siren will now howl!)
- Keep the LEARN button for about 5 seconds (the siren reset hereby and the siren will stop whining after about 5 seconds. Siren blue LEDs will then light)
- Perform enrollment again (when the siren is reset, it must be registered again. If necessary, refer to our Quick Start Guide for enrollment)
