Some ISP does not allow the use of web-based mail server (such as gmail or hotmail). We therefore recommend that you ask about this at your ISP. If your ISP does not allow the use of web-based mail server, you must use a working email address issued from the provider, for sending mail from the camera. You can easily receive mail on a mail address from another provider. Your ISP or mail service provider can tell you their SMTP settings such as SMTP server, SMTP port and encryption.

- Server Port: must be SMTP port from the provider of mail address under the "send".

- Authentication: should be set to one if the SMTP provider requires this.
- User Name: Must be the same address as the "sender".
- Password: Must be the password to the email address listed under "sender" and "SMTP user".
- Send To: Optional mail addresses.
